An ict active assessment
involves a visit to your building by a qualified assessor who will
discuss your building and
target markets with you before undertaking
a physical check around various parts of the building. The whole
process takes a maximum
of two days and you will receive a detailed report
at the end.
The ict active assessment process is designed with
workspace owners/managers in mind and consists
of the following steps
:
- An informal chat with an
assessor to ascertain
the basic information regarding
your property such as the target market your building
is aimed at and what you feel your
workspace can offer tenants.
- If you then want to continue
with gaining accreditation your
building will undergo a full assessment.
- You will
receive your accreditation which
includes a plaque to display in your property
and a certificate as well as a copy of
the assessment report.
There are two categories of accreditation you
could receive and at your informal chat you can discuss with the
assessor which level you would like to aim for. The categories are:
ict active -
this recognises that the building has good ICT capabilities which
would provide excellent
facilities for most businesses.
Leading Edge -
this is a level reserved for buildings which have the very best
in ICT infrastructure
or are designed to match
the needs of businesses with demanding requirements.
We understand that workspaces are built with
different uses in mind and that property
managers will therefore offer an appropriate level of ICT infrastructure
for their client.
Our audits recognise that whilst some buildings
are aimed at easy-in, easy-out tenants, others are designed for
long-term tenants so
will be promoted with different options;
such as the capacity for businesses to set up their own ICT facilities.
Bearing this
in mind the technical survey assesses the
ICT capabilities of a building in four key areas:
- The building itself
- The fixed ICT infrastructure
- Core services
- Value added services.
ict active assessments can be sought for either
a single office within a facility or for a whole building. Due
to the evolving nature of ICT each accredited site will need to
be re-assessed every year to maintain its accreditation.
Due to governmental backing we are able to offer
free ict active audits up until March 31st. To register for an
assessment please email assess@ictactive.net.
