ict active was launched in South Yorkshire in 2007 and has grown to have assessed more than 40 properties in the region, with the number continuing to rise.

ict active has been taken up by dozens office space owners in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.

There are several flagship commercial office properties in South Yorkshire that are ict active.

In Sheffield, Electric Works, a key development as part of the city’s Digital Campus, has signed up to ict active. The flagship office space is known nationwide as the UK’s first ‘helter skelter office’, as the building has a slide taking visitors from the top floor to reception in a few short seconds. And now Electric Works can further set itself apart from the crowd thanks to achieving Leading Edge status with ict active.

Electric Works is one of only three Leading Edge properties in South Yorkshire. The other two are The Quadrant, a modern office space close to the M1 in Sheffield, and The Innovation Centre Phase 2 development in Rotherham.

The ict active office space list in South Yorkshire also includes some unique properties such as Aizlewood’s Mill, Barnsley Digital Media Centre, Sheffield Bioincubator and Directions Finningley at Robin Hood Airport.
