The Cube is a live/ work scheme aimed at SMEs in the Cultural Industries Quarter in central Sheffield. It is a purpose built property which aims to offer entrepreneurs a flexible and sustainable solution by integrating the cost of business premises with affordable city-living housing costs.

There is 24 hour access to the building via fobs and keycodes and all of the offices are alarmed. The property is ideal for short term tenants with minimum contract terms of three months and short lead time for ICT installation.

There is copper Cat5e cabling which can take speeds of up to 100Mbits. It is run through a false ceiling across the whole of the property and terminates in a central comms room. The property has 10Mbit leased line internet which is a managed connection. There is a range of internet connectivity service options and it is possible for tenants to change from one service to another. There are static IP addresses available and you can run VPN and internet services over the connection. A telephony service is available on request and the system can support remote users. There is on-site support on request as well as telephone support.
