It consists of six (soon to be seven) modern buildings offering office space, industrial units and biotechnology/incubation units.

The main building acts as the core for the distribution of ICT services to all the other buildings. It also houses the main reception, video-conferencing suites, meeting rooms and conference facilities for all the other buildings’ occupants.

The site is located within easy reach of major road and rail links. There is ample on-site parking for tenants.

The cabling system has been designed and implemented to facilitate the isolation of BIC staff systems and individual tenants from one another, whilst maintaining access to the high-speed broadband internet links.

The BIC site has an excellent mix of services and features for any potential tenant, enabling access to all of the ICT features necessary for a modern business to succeed.

The offices are comfortable and tastefully decorated, making for a pleasant working environment. The design and implementation of the Internet and data networks for the site are of a very high quality and offer significant levels of redundancy to protect against all but the most severe of system or equipment failures.

The site has excellent provision for both on-site and external technical support to ensure interruption to ICT services is kept to an absolute minimum.

Unlike many other similar locations, the extent of the service provision and the technical support is indicated to tenants with a Standards of Service document, which details the expected levels of performance and reparations for tenants.

Overall, the ICT facilities and services at the site are of a superior order and a reflection of the attention to detail in the design and implementation by the BIC staff and their ICT partners.
