ict active is currently
focussing on South Yorkshire but when it goes national we could
need you.
The property assessments for the regional stage
of ict active have been conducted by Wired
Workplace, a Sheffield based IT and Telecoms
provider. But when the accreditation launches
nationally we will need assessors located across
the country to ensure that Britain's workplaces
become ict active.
Due to the technical nature of the assessment
we are looking for people with certain skills.
To be an assessor you need thorough background knowledge of
voice
and data networking technologies, network
topologies, and good building design. You
must also have a methodical approach with
good attention to detail, and ability to approach
issues from a number
of angles. In particular
you will need to have good understanding
of:
- TCP/IP
- server hosting
- telephony systems
- ISP services
- mail and web services
